So you are looking for a cool dj! How do you know if you got the right one? Here are a few questions you can ask to get the ball rolling:
How did you hear about them?
Have you seen them at a event, wedding or bar?
How long have they been in business?
When you met with them are they talking to you or above you?
How much do they cost?
Are they weekend jocks & do this part time?
Is this a service that outsources all it’s work?
Do you feel pressured to sign a contract?
What is their refund policy?
Lots of questions to ask but this is your big event or wedding & it pays to know! DJs come and go & not all will give a fair shake. You need to think about what is right for you. Don’t back down & never feel you need to sign on the spot. I feel you have to know what you want & who you feel comfortable running your event. After all the dj who ever they maybe wind up running the event in the end.
