Chris Cummings (known as DJ D8A) has shaped Midwest electronic music culture since 1999, cutting his teeth in the underground warehouse rave scene. He built resident DJ roles in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio, helping define the region’s house and electronic scene through the 2000s. He brought underground sounds to a wider audience with guest mixes on Wright State University’s WWSU.

D8A toured across North America, sharing stages with the genre’s biggest names and performing at two iconic festivals: the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF, now Movement) and the World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF) in Toronto.

 As a producer, he’s released original music under his label, Groovereactor Music, spanning vinyl, CD, and digital formats, available on Apple Music, Spotify, Beatport, and more.

 Today, Chris brings that same depth of experience, technical skill, and passion for the craft to weddings and private events with D&M DJ Entertainment — over two decades of professional expertise and an encyclopedic command of music for every celebration.
