You have hired a entertainer & you gave them all the information they need to make your crowd happy. Now let them! Your dj will follow up with your during your event. You don’t have to stand over them & tell what to play next. Also if the dj id not doing what you want but they are working the crowd & everyone is having a good time, gently push them in the directions you want to have happen. They understand it’s your event & they want to make sure it is the best. Sometimes it’s a communication issue & is not intentional in their approach your event. Sometimes it is easier to have a person be a go between someone that helps the dj & the host stay on track. Timing is everything so a dj will always welcome a little help during the event. It is not like you are standing over their shoulder & the flow of the event will be great. At the end of the day it is a team effort & everyone on the team really wants the event to be a success!
