I began my DJ efforts as a karaoke host in 1998 due to my love of singing. No, I won’t sing for your wedding. My singing skills are decent at best. I was mentored by one of Ohio’s premiere karaoke hosts. It was through him that I learned the basics of sound setup and the valuable tools of just being a DJ. He also taught me what I needed to know for serving as DJ for my 1st few weddings.

Further self-education and improvements have guided me through 250 or so successful wedding events.

In all things, I am honest, frank, and humble. That said, I’ll describe my simple and humble offerings as a DJ. I do not do mixing and scratching. Nor do I offer much in the way of Rap Music.

• Professional sound systems sufficient for 200-250 people
• A modest array of dance floor lights.
• Karaoke
• Emcee skills.

My strengths include weddings of the casual laid back kind; adult birthday gatherings 30 and up; small corporate events; and any others that might incorporate karaoke.

My weaknesses include Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, Bollywood or other multi-national events as I have not been hired for any to date.

My DJ style is best described as “laid back.” I’m most comfortable with simpler, lower budget and DIY type events.

Client reviews often include words such as accommodating, polite, tactful, witty, attentive, friendly, outgoing, “went the extra mile,” “exceeded our expectations.” My community turns to me often for volunteer efforts as DJ to help with fundraisers, and once committed, I don’t back out in favor of paying opportunities.

Due to my vast networking efforts and alliances with other DJs, many consider me as their “Go-To-Guy” where I am often called in as a last minute or emergency substitute. DJs have called me in to serve with as little as four hours’ notice to take over weddings, and as little as two hours for other events.

I’d far rather disqualify myself for events for which I’m not suitable than I would to disappoint. if you seek more than my humble services I urge you to speak with another D&M DJ.
