well you are down to the last song of the night! You get everyone on the dance floor to give a nice send off for the bride & groom and the song ends you say let’s hear it for the happy couple and then you hear it. Someone in the crowd yells one more song. You tell them your done as the venue said you are done at a certain time & you can’t go past that time. The guest dose not care and then tells you if your a good dj you will play one more song and even offers you money. Do you risk it or do you just say no. We ll the answer is simple: if you don’t play one more song the guest is now unhappy & if you play one more song the venue will not refer you business or will tell people not to hire you. At the end of the day we as dj’s are guests at these venues and we should respect their wishes. There is a reason for selecting a last song as you want people to leave on a high note. You want them to send the bride & groom out with a bang! If you truly respect them then you will not argue with the dj or tell them things like they are bad because they did what both the venue & clients wanted. It’s their day & you need to keep good relations with people you work with in the business………
